I got a little spend happy this month, but what can I say, I love fall clothes ;) In all honesty though, I'm very happy with all of these purchases. I've been looking for a maroon pencil skirt for over a year, so I was excited when I found this one for under $50...until it went on sale for another 30% off, bringing it down to $35. Since it went down in price within 7 days of ordering it, they adjusted it for me after I called them, which was really nice of them.  The chambray shirt is another item I've had my eye on it for months, so I finally ordered it during a recent 30% off sale. I've worn it at least five times since receiving it (so much that my boyfriend commented on it yesterday and said "wow, you really must love your new shirt" haha). The earrings were something Jessica mentioned, so I figured a fun pair of earrings, for just over $6, why not. They haven't arrived yet (they're from China) but Jessica says they look more expensive than the few dollars they were.

Like I mentioned Wednesday, I ordered this sweater dress as a filler item an in order. I was drawn to it because of the full sleeves, flattering waist line, and the length that comes with the tall sizes. I didn't think I would like it this much though! I need to wear it belted (as you can see on the left) as it's a bit looser in the waist, but I always wear belts all the time anyway. The fabric is soft and thick enough to be flattering (I feel really thin fabric just shows your bra and underwear lines, no matter how seamless). It comes in a bunch of other colors, including a pretty red that may have to become mine if it goes further on sale!

The dress was initially a filler item when I ordered this coat. I thought for under $30 with a sales code, it would be a fun fall coat to have. The fabric is beautiful, but like Chris mentioned on facebook, the sizing is a bit off. This is a size large, but I'm afraid that the medium would be too tight in the shoulders. It's too bad, because it really is a great coat for the price.

I received the following items this month to review:

It was also my birthday this month! I asked for these Sperry loafers - they're super old man, and I love them for it. I also used birthday money to buy a J.Crew vest - I can't wait to wear it all fall (it was finally cool enough to wear it yesterday when we went on an early morning walk!)

I have no concrete plans for October's budget. I'm still waiting for the tweed skirt from BR to go on sale, but other than that, no plans. Anything you have your eye?
